If you wish to poll mail from a BBS listed as HOST, or HUB, you must contact that BBS and set up an account and ensure they can handle another polling board before you send in an application requesting them to be your hub. While some of the boards do support FTS transfers of mail, not all nodes have netmail access, please keep this in mind. If you wish to be an FTS node or hub, send net mail to 1:202/801 with your app, and also to the board from which you wish to receive mail. A node number will be issued as soon as possible. Several PIN systems offer telnet service. Read Telnet.txt for details. FTS packets are also available via the host FTP site. Read FTP.txt for details. No FTS service is available via telnet currently, and no QWK packets are available via FTP (although we are willing to work on the latter.) Revised: May 03, 2003; Copyright 1996/97/98 Tom F. Lebens |
