Well you made it! You have arrived at The San Diego -- San Luis Obispo Connection, Fanciful Online! I hope you decide to stay for a while, and join our humble community of internet and computer enthusiasts. We are all muddling our way though this wonderful experiment call "THE INTERNET", and along the way we each learn a great deal, and make a few friends.

On with it, you say! Well, here's the deal. We'll give you 45 minutes a day on Fanciful Online for free, forever (or at least until Tom Lebens gets tired of running this server). There is nothing to pay, ever. (Other than for your internet access.) No catch!

Bulletin #1 covers our policies and other user information. Bulletin #4 also gives you our history, philosophy, and perhaps a little insight into why ANYONE would want to do something like provide this service!

If you have a Windows machine, we strongly suggest you start by downloading the Fanciful Navigator. Once you download this software, install it, and configure it, you are all set to create your account. (The first time you log in, use your real first and last name, make up a password, and make sure to COMPLETELY fill out the new user questionnaire.) We will upgrade your access shortly after you have created your account. Contact the co-sysop if you need assistance.

If you have a Mac, we suggest that you go to our new user sign on page, and get signed on. Make sure you complete the new user questionnaire, COMPLETELY. And, after you have done so, we will get you upgraded.
