Welcome to Fanciful Online.

Fanciful Online is a free information service provided in the spirit of what was once well known as the "BBS" or Bulletin Board System. BBS's are largely unknown to the online community today, but represent the precursors to services like MSN Groups, or Yahoo Groups (or even the Usenet) wherein a message base is used as a place for a group of people with a common interest to communicate with one another, and a file base is used as a medium for the exchange of freeware and shareware.

Fanciful Online offers many methods of access to our message base, and file base, including the web, a customized software application, Telnet, a Newsreader, Email and FTP. We hope you will experiment with all of these, and make use of the ones are most enjoyable to you.
